MTV.com - Onair - MTV Cribs

So I was flipping through the channels yesterday and came to rest on MTV. Cribs was on and they were profiling Tyrese of Fast and furious fame.

He was talking about the paintings in his house. He had what he referred to as a what if painting. His what if was "What if Malcolm X baptized Tupac." There it was a painting of Malcolm and Tupac. Supposedly they are in the river Jordan doing their thing. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. The painting had a airbrush qaulity to it.

Many questions came flooding into my head. Was this a commissioned piece? Do the tenets of Thug-life and islam really jell with each other? Is there Baptism in the religion of islam? Is Tyrese retarded? If I was given copious amounts of disposable income would I do something that stupid? (being my mothers son the answer would be a resounding yes!)

Tyrese is a celebrity. Celebrities are the people a society decides to celebrate. If this is the type of person that we decide to celebrate what does that say about us?

What would my what If painting be? Maybe Jeff Tweedy being Baptized by Hunter S. Thompson.
