JMM once again lays out everything you need to know. He brings up liberation theology. It is shame that in one of the rare cases where members of the catholic church sought to really impact social justice in their countries the hierarchy of the church ignored them. I am hoping for a Latin American pope who is steeped in the history of Romero and other great catholic heroes who fought for the little guys and not just for the status qou.
